Mission:
The H.O.P.E. organization is committed to providing a vibrant, sustainable community by striving to improve the quality of life of others through the charitable efforts and resources of the local community and partnering agencies
History:
Helping Others Prosper Equally (H.O.P.E.) was founded in March of 2009 by a dedicated group of volunteers with a common vision of helping those less fortunate or in need. This not-for-profit organization continues to grow, united in a common purpose of service – helping those less fortunate prosper equally.
The H.O.P.E. volunteers understand that as part of society’s duty of care, we must all be mindful that as we prosper, we must constantly reach back and offer a hand up, not a hand out. In staying true to the wise African proverb, “it takes a village to raise a child”, H.O.P.E. recognizes that everyone is a part of that village irrespective of race, religion, gender, physical or mental ability, social or economic status. We owe it to humanity to be vigilant in assisting others to prosper and enabling them to reach their full potential.
