The H.O.P.E. Board Members include the following:
Christopher Bullen – Chair
Mr. Christopher Bullen is a 22 year member of the York Regional Police, having achieved success; progressing to more senior roles within the police service into his current role as Inspector. He is a graduate of Carlton University, Seneca College, and the University of Guelph-Humber. Chris is a strong community advocate and continues to give back through many avenues, not only as the Chair of H.O.P.E. but through volunteering with the York Region District School Board, his Past Presidency of the Association of Black Law Enforcers, and his current role as Vice President. He is a former executive member of the United Way of Toronto, and the Unionville Rotary Club. Chris is a champion for the ideology of reaching back and helping those less fortunate.
Victoria Amaral – Vice Chair
Victoria is a corporate executive with over 15 years of diverse international business experience. She is currently employed with Brookfield Global Relocation Services as Vice President, Corporate Services. Victoria has channeled her strong business skills and experience into other areas of passion, including community involvement and mentorship and currently participates in a variety of community-based and volunteer organizations.
Dorothy Iliadis – Treasurer
Dorothy is a lifelong volunteer having spent the majority of her adult life volunteering for a variety of organizations. Dorothy utilizes her business and creative skills for good across a number of community and not-for-profit organizations. In addition to H.O.P.E., Dorothy currently volunteers for the York Regional Girls Hockey Association and an Aurora Catholic School.
Danielle Bhopalsingh – Board Member
Danielle Bhopalsingh is currently a high school teacher in Scarborough working with at-risk youth. In addition, she is also a customer service representative at CIBC. She has been a volunteer for many years, contributing her education and skills to charitable organizations and educational programs across York Region and Toronto. Danielle has a strong passion to help and support those who are disadvantaged.
Eva Lue – Board Member
Eva was born and raised in Jamaica. She migrated to Canada with her family in 1976. She began her volunteer and charity efforts in 1986 supporting Missionaries of the Poor. Eva is strongly committed to supporting and sharing others through her love and faith.
